Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS) -This program provides individual financial counseling services to families and individuals, as well as debt management services. This program offers financial literacy education seminars, focusing on such topics as home budgeting and financial management, first-time home buying, avoiding identity theft, reducing consumer debt, and avoiding predatory lending schemes. Appointments are available in both the Raleigh and Durham office locations.

HUD-Approved Housing Counseling -This program, administered through our CCCS division, provides individual counseling to potential homebuyers, to homeowners who are behind or are in danger of falling behind on their mortgage payments, and to senior citizen homeowners who could benefit from a reverse mortgage. Appointments are available in both the Raleigh and Durham office locations.

Financial Literacy - We offer a variety of public classes throughout the year. In addition, we offer on-site workshops for businesses, schools, and the general community. We encourage you to attend our most popular workshop, The Empowerment Zone, which covers all the major budget, credit, and housing issues that clients bring to individual sessions.
Emergency Housing Assistance -This program prevents homelessness by providing emergency financial assistance and three months of intensive case management and budget counseling services to individuals and families who are facing imminent risk of eviction from their homes or who are already homeless and who are seeking help with first month's rent.
HPRP - Wake County and The City of Raleigh selected Triangle Family Services. These two well-respected agencies will operate HPRP for up to three (3) years. Funding for HPRP can be used for: Financial assistance (including rent payments), housing relocation and stabilization services. Program support must be directed to households with incomes that are at or below 50% of the area median family income, and are in danger of losing their housing or have already lost their housing. This funding cannot assist households with mortgage costs. For more information, click here.
