Our annual Wake UP! with TFS community issues breakfast is set for Thursday, Sept. 13 at PNC Arena. This event sells out quickly so be sure to join us as we engage in issues-oriented conversation on impactful topics in our community. Over 300 business, political and community leaders attend each year to show support for Triangle Family Services and the greater Raleigh community.
This year, we will be focusing on “Changing the Faces of ACEs,” also known as Adverse Childhood Experiences. Come learn more about what they are, how they are measured and how intervention can make a big difference for children, adults and our community.
Secretary of the NC Department of Human Services, Mandy Cohen, will be leading our conversations as a distinguished panelist at the event. She will be joined on the panel by Phil Redmond, Director of the Child Care Division at The Duke Endowment and Dr. Katie Rosanbalm, Senior Research Scientist at the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy.
Tickets are $50 each and are available for purchase here.
