Triangle Family Services’ Gingerbread Benefit celebrates the culinary masters in our community. The 15th Annual Gingerbread Benefit will be held this year on Thursday, December 7, 2017. Each year, the best chefs and bakers in the Triangle gather with incredible Gingerbread creations, setting the tone for the holiday season. These creations are viewed, celebrated and then auctioned off at the Evening Benefit. The gingerbread houses created and donated by the Triangle’s finest chefs are symbolic of the foundational support that we provide the area’s most vulnerable families every day. All proceeds benefit the successful programs at Triangle Family Services.
Thousands of invitations will be sent via email and the benefit will be publicized through local radio, television, print media as well as social media. All sponsors and chefs will be featured on the TFS website and media. This year, we anticipate all events to sell out!
Each year the Gingerbread Benefit reaches a multitude of different businesses, foundations and individuals. In 2016, over 60 individual, business and foundation sponsors were included, over 100 businesses and restaurants donated to the event auction and over 20 local restaurants and bakeries participated as Gingerbread House chefs. A total of up to 600 guests attend our events. These attendees also present an accurate representation of the Triangle Community’s most prestigious business and community leaders.
The Chef’s Brunch is TFS’ way of thanking our amazing Gingerbread House creators. It provides an excellent opportunity for chefs from around the Triangle to enjoy a morning networking with their peers. Radio personality Kitty Kinnin will serve as Emcee for this event.
