Mission Moments: Supervised Visitation Success Stories
At Triangle Family Services, our Supervised Visitation (SV) program creates safe, supportive spaces for families to heal and reconnect. Here are a few recent stories that show the power of this work:
A Father’s Journey Back to His Children
While completing the DOSE program, one dad spent a whole year in supervised visitation with his 3-year-old daughter. Through consistency and commitment, he transitioned to tiered visitation—starting with safe exchanges for day visits, then unsupervised overnight visits once a week, with a goal of weekly visits soon. Both parents are also now in counseling together, working towards family reunification.
A Mother’s Path to Healing
A mom with four young children lost custody after entering an abusive relationship. The children witnessed violence, and their dad was granted immediate custody. When visits began at TFS, mom was still in that harmful relationship and often arrived bruised. Our team encouraged her to stay connected and provided community resources that offer safety and healing. Over the past few months, Mom has made incredible progress. Her children are thrilled to see her healthy and happy again. This Thanksgiving, she brought a meal to share with her kids at TFS—a beautiful moment of hope and renewal.
These stories remind us why your support matters. Every visit, every meal shared, every moment of healing happens because of you. Thank you for helping families find safety, stability, and hope.
