Triangle Family Services runs an in-house food pantry for all program participants to have a bite to eat when they come to the office and take items home if they are facing food insecurity. In a world abundant with resources, many individuals and families grapple with the harsh reality of food insecurity. A food pantry stands as a beacon of hope for those in need, offering more than just sustenance. It provides a lifeline, a promise of nourishment and relief from the burden of uncertainty. Through the generosity of communities, food pantries bridge the gap between scarcity and plenty, offering dignity, choice, and a pathway towards a brighter, more secure future. They are essential in safeguarding the well-being and dignity of our neighbors facing food insecurity. (Non-perishable within expiration food is accepted) Here are some ideas below:
Our Street Outreach teams reach more than 500 individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness. Please review the list of items below that can be included in a hygiene kit (even better if you can assemble them yourselves – see volunteer opportunities for more information)
A “Welcome Home Kit” includes essential items to help someone settle into their new living space after experiencing homelessness. You can provide any of these items or prepackage them to be ready to deliver – see volunteer opportunities for more information. If not stated as needing (new) all items can be gently used. Typical items needed are:
If you are unable to pick up any of these items but would like to make a designated donation for our teams to do so – that is also welcome!
Support our Sunshine Library and brighten a child’s day! In our programs, children of all ages find comfort in a safe and nurturing environment. They can play, read, and cuddle a stuffed animal while waiting to be seen, easing apprehension. Transitioning fear into joy is our goal, ensuring every child feels welcomed and supported at Triangle Family Services. Your contribution brings smiles and warmth to our little ones’ hearts.

“There is a lot that happens around the world we cannot control. We cannot stop earthquakes, we cannot prevent droughts, and we cannot prevent all conflict, but when we know where the hungry, the homeless and the sick exist, then we can help.”
