The 502 Direct Loan Program provides a path to homeownership for low- and very low-income applicants in eligible rural areas who otherwise would not be able to afford to purchase a home.
Individuals and families who meet specific financial eligibility requirements are provided with a subsidy to reduce their mortgage payment in the short-term. Our financial stability team is certified to help applicants navigate the application process.
